How we started
Highland Adventures began in 2006 the way most good outfitters do: planning trips for people who wanted more than a package tour and less than a gamble. Twenty years later the tools are better and the destinations busier, but the work is the same. Understand the traveler, design the right trip, and stand behind every piece of it until the flight home.
How we work
Every trip gets one specialist from first conversation to final documents. We design the itinerary, put the price and terms in writing before you pay anything, and arrange each piece with the vetted, licensed local operators we have worked with for years. Your trip space shows you honestly what is reserved and what is confirmed, because a trip you can trust starts with status you can trust.
Where we go
We plan trips worldwide. Our deepest roots are in Galapagos, Patagonia, and the Andes, but the destination starts with where you want to go. For Peru, our sister site MachuPicchu.com carries the planning tools and the trips themselves.
